===== Background/Bio =====
Leon is the only child of Otto and Marisa Darrish, who were keen to prepare him for a life among the nobility. As a result, he underwent a lengthy political education at his mother's insistence. Lacking the required diligence for scholarly pursuits, Leon felt that this was largely wasted on him. Instead, he found faith in the Leader, and now looks to earn renown and to prove himself capable of decisive action. To this end, he has embarked on a life of adventuring, to his parents' annoyance.

**...as of [[resources:adventure:a_study_in_scarlett|A Study in Scarlett]],** Leon has a black mark against him following a confrontation with family head Olivia Darrish, during which he refused to apologise for his part in the killing of his cousin, the royalist conspirator Etienne Darrish.

**...as of [[resources:adventure:the_memory_of_chains|The Memory of Chains]],** the situation hasn't much improved... and **as of [[resources:adventure:night_of_the_rooster|Night of the Rooster]],** it's become decidedly worse. (This isn't //entirely// for a lack of trying; as part of an attempt to toe the family line, Leon has found himself trying to befriend the Wayfinders' Guild...)

...yet **as of [[resources:adventure:the_invisible_sun|The Invisible Sun]],** a good deed for the city had seen Leon tentatively reinstated at the adult table.
