The party fight there way into the centre of the storm towards the dragon gate. When they get there they find another gate flying off into the sky and a small group of mages just wrapping up a ritual. They talk about regaining the the allmothers Grace before the party lose interest and cut them all down before they are forced to flee away from the gate.

There the party meet the council and are hired to track down the rogue dragon gate and stop whatever plan is trying to be enacted. gotta Darish suggests they retrieve acryns floating sky fortress in order to allow them to reach the thunderhead in the sky.

The party travel into the flux and eventually find the fortress chained to the floor and assaulted by draconic entities. They smash the chains and flee into the sky finding that the fortress has been taken over by a dragon born call Besherhara the Malformed, the party barter for passage to the dragon gate in return for letting Besherhara have the dragon gate afterwards. 
 
The party fly into the storm fighting there way through yet more storm clouds and a floating forest before finding the dragon gate in the sky betraying Besherhara and crashing the floating fortress on the way. A grand ritual of unknown purpose underway. As they approach the wind and the rain attempt to drain the party of hope succeeding in doing so to Geoffrey and to a lesser extent Rodrigo.

The party rush to stop the ritual a process made more difficult by the mages repeated resurrections and the swirling wind knocking them off the platform. They eventually kill one Mage and McWizard turns into a living explosion renting the floating gate apart leading to gaping wounds in reality. McWizard attempts to fix these as Lady Rosemile stabilises the region combining to stasis quickly spreading to consume the gate. The party jump to safety the Rosemiles being carried away on th back of a giant bird whilst Rodrigo and Macwizard fall to the floor. They are found by Besherhara who demands vengeance Macwizard turns into a grenade and explodes whilst Rodrigo is captured. Besherhara performs a ritual on him attempting to turn him into a servant and another on am wizards scattered remains attempting to bind him into the form he had assumed.

====Rodrigo====
  * Has gained the perfected form Epic Tree.
  * Is obligated to tell Beshehara anything he finds out about the Rosemiles.
  * Is under a restraining order not to go near the Rosemiles.
  

====Lady Rosemile====
  * Having stabilised a patch of Dragon flux has lost any fear of social embarrassment. She gains two RESISTS to mind effecting calls per encounter.

====McWizard====
  * Has been trapped in his gunpowder form by a binding ritual. Assume and Consume will still work but he won't lose his explosive nature.
  * Anytime he is touched by flame he explodes and should act as though he has just drunk a Pillar of Destruction potion.
