When I went out adventuring as brave as brave could be\\
I came across a treasure trove with gold piles high as me\\
And so I tried to take it all, but then with pure disdain\\
Did speak our party’s Wayfinder and began to explain\\
\\
It’s Flux, it’s Flux you silly old fools\\
So Flux it won’t remain\\
That gold is worthless to you all, it’s value won’t sustain\\
Well it’s many a day I’ve travelled and so far left to go\\
But I’m sure I saw him pocketing all of that gold cargo\\
\\
When I went out adventuring as brave as brave could be\\
We came across a sewer: repugnant as should be\\
And there we found some vermin who went off with quite a boom\\
But then spoke up the Wayfinder to bring us all more gloom\\
\\
They’re Flux, they’re Flux, you silly old fools\\
So Flux they won’t remain\\
By the time we come back round, we’ll have to fight again\\
Well it’s many a day I’ve travelled and so far left to go\\
But I swear that bloody Wayfinder lured us into that grotto\\
\\
When I went out adventuring as brave as brave could be\\
We came across a tavern, with a lad who fancied me\\
One thing led to another, and we made to go to bed\\
But then piped up the Wayfinder, who very smugly said\\
\\
He’s Flux, he’s Flux, you silly old fool\\
So Flux he won’t remain\\
He’ll disappear by afternoon (and along with him, that stain!)\\
Well it’s many a day I’ve travelled and so far left to go\\
But I swear that lad was “stringing up that Wayfinder’s crossbow”\\
\\
When I went out adventuring as brave as brave could be\\
We came across some watchmen who demanded that we flee\\
We were told they were just flux-things, so naturally we struck\\
But when we’d killed the last of them, Wayfinder shouted “Fuck!”\\
\\
They’re real, they’re real, you silly old fools\\
We just committed a crime!\\
And so he ran into the Flux and left us all behind\\
It’s since been many a day I’ve travelled, and I’ve so far left to go\\
But if I ever see that Wayfinder, I’ll string him head to toe!\\
