Armand needs to somehow get his heart back from the Traitor, in order to ascend. Ideally, this will involve doing good works for Acryn in the process. It is essential that he has the support of Senta Fernbach, Bartholomew Banks, and - in the hopes that he will be of level by then - his son, Astraeus. Other possible invitees include Hugh Branch (the gods help them all), Lucian Graves and Andrea Graves (though Andrea will probably not be invited to fulfil the more extreme plan).

The less extreme plan:

• Do some things that are majorly helpful to the city - with the express purpose of making people's lives better, and hopefully get Bartholomew Banks to do some healing along the way, in order to impress the Tender
• Also hopefully garner recognition and supporters via this
• Get Bartholomew to summon the Tender, and politely request that she lobby the Traitor on Armand's behalf to return his heart
• Hopefully the combo of a) the Tender's support, and b) the fact that they have done genuine good for the city will help sway the Traitor

The more extreme plan:

• Get a trustworthy Wounding Mage (… somehow) to perform a ritual to use a piece of Armand's skin to locate where the Civil Service has hidden the body of Penelope Cargan (as her skin is the same as Armand's)
• Get past multiple layers of security to find the body
• Either use it to threaten the Traitor into giving the heart back, or destroy it immediately
• this is such an abysmal plan

The contingency plan:

• Use a combo of Warrior Miracle and Rightful Miracle to a) strengthen his heart, and b) return it to its rightful owner, The Arcane Arbiter. That, or attempt to pledge soul to the Arcane Arbiter in the hopes that if all goes to shit and the Traitor kills him before he can ascend, part of him will at least be with his husband when he dies
