A clever young peasant from a remote Vallydi village, Hyon studied the giant insects that terrorised his home and learned how they might be domesticated. When he tamed the Great Worm of Svartkulle, his deed pushed him onto the path to divinity.

Still coming into his powers, Hyon had the misfortune to encounter the anomaly Drottning who enslaved the would-be-god to its will. He was rescued when adventurers from Acryn came to the region and broke the Spider's hold over the people of the valley.
