The Vault is situated deep within the College of the Stars. Apparently created shortly after the founding, it houses a number of artefacts deemed to dangerous to ever be used. The Vault was sealed by the orders of the First Queen of Acryn, Melinda Salic, and has not been opened since.

It has taken over fifty years since the fall of the monarchy for anyone to even consider breaking the seal and entering the Vault.
